Celebration of the National Mujahid Day and the 70th anniversary of August 20, 1955 and 1956.

The Algerian Embassy in Bujumbura celebrated today National Mujahid Day, the 70th anniversary of August 20, 1955 and 1956 (the offensive in northern Constantine and the holding of the Soummam Congress), two dates that constitute two key events of the Algerian Revolution that enabled its expansion and organization and led, after years of fierce struggle against the colonizer, to the recovery of independence.
