The Burundian Minister of Communication and Media in Algeria

The Burundian Minister of Communication and Media, Mr. Gabby Bugaga, participated alongside other African Ministers of Communication in the celebration of African Telecommunications Day 2025, held in Algiers on December 7, 2025, under the theme "Digital Pathways to a Greener World, Resilient to Climate Change" and the slogan "Let's Build a Sustainable and Resilient Digital Future Together."

Mr. Bugaga also took part in the opening of the 4th African Startup Conference, held in Algiers from December 6 to 8, 2025. On the sidelines of this conference, the Burundian Minister of Communication and Media was received by Mr. Sidali Zerrouki, Minister of Post and Telecommunications.

This meeting provided an opportunity for the two officials to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the telecommunications sector.
